PURPOSE:To prevent leakage of a filler fluid by providing a circular seal recess on the opposite side surface of the sealing surface of a resin seal lip, and providing a seal projection corresponding to the seal recess of the surface, contacted to the resin seal lip, of a seal lip made of a rubber-like elastic substance. CONSTITUTION:In a rotation of a rotary shaft 3, an atmosphere A is sucked in along a screw groove 15 by the theory of a screw pump, and the filler fluid B is sealed. When the rotary shaft 3 is being stopped, the filler fluid B is sealed by a rubber lip 7. In this case, since the first seal ring 6 and the second seal ring 10 are in the unconnecting condition (the ring 6 and a reinforcement ring 11 are also unconnected), their lips 4 and 7 do not interfere each other and exercise the sealing function respectively. In the above operation, since a projection 17 (a seal projection) is contacted closely to the slope of a cut groove 16 (a seal recess) of the sealing fluid B side to seal a clearance E, the fluid B is not leaked to the atmosphere side A through the clearance E and the contact surface between the reinforcement ring 11 and the ring 6, even though the fluid B is leaked to the resin lip 4 side. |
