The polymers simultaneously have a high mechanical level and a balanced pattern of properties. They are produced by anodic polymerisation of the pyrroles and other polymerisable compounds in polar electrolytic solvents in the presence of conducting salts, carbonyl derivatives and acids which produce a homogeneous film structure and constantly longer-term stability.
