<p>The equipment is for manufacturing oblong prestressed concrete items, the moulds being arranged side by side in groups in the lengthwise direction of the prestressing bench. The groups, although independent, have at the side travel tracks ending near the ends of those of the following group. Each group is mounted on the bench via damper blocks with lengthwise sliding shoes, but equipped to prevent the groups sliding sideways. The shoes may be mounted on an intermediate frame between the dampers and the group frames. The travel tracks can be so arranged as to leave between consecutive ones a gap between 0.5 and 2 cm. This allows the groups to slide in relation to each other during the manufacturing process.</p> |
