PURPOSE:To obtain the above material having a temp. range capable of forming a transparent state wider than that of a conventional one by forming a matrix material from a polyolefinic thermplastic elastomer and using saturated carboxylic acid as the org. low-molecular substance dispersed in the matrix material. CONSTITUTION:A matrix material composed of a polyolefinic thermoplastic elastomer and saturated carboxylic acid are contained. As saturated carboxylic acid used herein, capric acid, lauric acid, mirystic acid, palmitic acid and stearic acid are pref. The mixing ratio of the matrix material to saturated carboxylic acid is pref. set to the range of 1:1-20:1. By this constitution, a heat-reversible recording material shows the max. transparency when it is heated to specific temp. TA (TA is, for example, about 60 deg.C higher than room temp.) or higher and subsequently quenched at certain speed and shows the min. transparency when it is cooled at cooling speed equal or less than the certain speed. |
