PURPOSE:To produce data on correction of unevenness in concentration in a short time and to suppress a down time of a machine to a short time by a method wherein when unevenness in concentration of a multihead is detected and from concentration determined by multiplying a detecting result by a factor, unevenness in concentration is corrected according to data on correction of unevenness in concentration, a factor is varied, and a factor optimum to each head is set. CONSTITUTION:It is computed that concentration responding to each nozzle is displaced from average concentration by what extent, and a signal correction amount Sn responding to Cn is determined by a formula of Sn=KXCn, wherein K is a factor decided by gradation properties of a head. The factor is variable and can be recognized according to a head. By so produced data on correction of unevenness in concentration, a correction straight line differed with each head is selected to correct unevenness in concentration. In an optimum factor value at each head, when the gradation characteristics of a head are formed in the shape of an up protrusion, a value of K is increased, and when formed in the shape of a down protrusion, the value of K may be set to a low value. |
