PURPOSE:To easily attain transfer of a mail box by providing a user-mail box relation definition relating a user ID to a mail box ID and revising the definition as required. CONSTITUTION:A user-mail box relation definition 4 defines the relation between a user ID and a mail box ID and the relation between the user ID and the mail box ID in the user-mail box relation definition 4 is revised in response to a change in the job scope to change the mail box 6 accessed by the user. Thus, a reception history, a transmission history and a reception mail or the like in the electronic mail stored in the mail box 6 are easily transferred to the other party without revising a user management table 3 and a mail box definition 5. Thus, the transfer of the mail box 6 is easily implemented at a job takeover due to the change of the job scope. |
