A procedure and device for automatic moulding in a continuous process, in which a mould from a series of circulating moulds in the process, made up of a frame and a lower locking plate which are independent, is caused to separate by parallel and vertical lifting of the frame above the plate, in order to allow the lateral insertion of a flat body above said plate, in such a way that subsequently bringing the frame closer produces a peripheral clamping effect on the upper edges of the flat body, which is thus converted into a leakproof support in the mould, for receiving doughy liquids which are to be poured into them in their synchronized linear and intermittent movement, and in order that, once the moulding has been performed on the flat body, the frame is separated vertically from the plate, exceeding the height of the flat body with its associated layers, and allows lateral access to extractors which remove the finished product. <IMAGE>
