PURPOSE:To attain emphasis display for a medical treatment picture easy to see by an observer by designating in advance at which density of two prescribed objects is expressed in a picture obtained as the result of emphasis. CONSTITUTION:When a bone (such as backbone 12) at a background is overlapped on a stomach 11 and the contrast is deteriorated and a density modulation function is decided, the density as a result of conversion is designated in advance to two of density value of part 22 with filled contrast medium in the inside of the stomach and the density value of an outside 21 of the stomach. That is, since the effect of emphasis is enhanced, the density of a brighter object is set to 0.0-0.2 and the density of a darker object is designated to 1.0-1.2. Thus, since the both are always displayed with a prescribed density difference, the border is made clear and an emphasis picture for easy distinguishing of both objects is obtained. |
