发明名称 TANDEM TYPE PHOTOELECTRIC CONVERSION ELEMENT
摘要 PURPOSE:To enable a single photoelectric conversion element to output various types of outputs by a method wherein PIN type photoelectric conversion layers are laminated through an inner electrode formed of transparent conductive film, an outer electrode is provided to the front and the rear of the laminated layer respectively, where one of the electrodes is formed of a transparent conductive film, and the inner electrode and the outer electrode are made to serve as output terminals of the PIN type photoelectric conversion layer. CONSTITUTION:A photoelectric conversion element 1 is formed into a tandem type through such a way that amorphous Si PIN type photoelectric conversion layers 121, 122, 123, and 124 are successively laminated interposing inner electrodes 131, 132, and 133 of ITO transparent conductive film between them. An outer electrode 134 formed of ITO transparent conductive film is arranged in lamination on the uppermost part of the photoelectric conversion element 1. The upsides and the undersides of the inner electrode and the outer electrode are larger than those of a photoelectric conversion layer in area, each of the inner electrodes is made to protrude outside of the conversion layers, a bonding pad is provided to the protrudent part of the electrode, and the output of the transparent conductive film layer can be easily led outside. By a photoelectric conversion element structured as above, various voltages can be obtained from a single conversion element.
