<p>PURPOSE:To measure the degree of sagging of an aerial wire with a high accuracy and easily by installing reflecting mirrors in the middle of the aerial wire in a span and at both end support points thereof, by measuring the distance between the point of measurement and the reflecting mirrors using light waves, and by measuring the angle of the position of each reflecting mirror seen from the point of measurement. CONSTITUTION:An electrooptical distance meter D is placed by the use of a stand E in a suitable position outside a span for getting an unobstructed view of reflecting mirrors 1, 2, 3 placed at three points of the both end support points (a), (b) of an aerial wire C and the intermediate point of the span aerial wire C and the position is determined as the point of measurement. A laser beam, etc., are projected on respective reflecting mirrors 1, 2, 3 and the reflected light is received so that the distance between the point of measurement and each reflecting is measured using light waves. Further, the angles between respective reflecting mirrors 1, 2, 3 in vertical and horizontal planes are measured, too.</p> |
