PURPOSE:To suppress noise at the time of seeking by varying the voltage to be applied onto a step motor according to the seeking speed. CONSTITUTION:Voltage to be applied onto the coil 22 of a step motor is varied according to the seeking speed and a minimum necessary voltage is applied onto the coil 22 for a set seeking speed. The applying voltage can be set freely in any step according the seeking speed while considering the noise condition at the time of seeking, and the voltage level can be set freely so long as it is higher than the minimum necessary level. By such arrangement, damping vibration of step motor can be suppressed. |
