<p>The trocar (1-5) enables the bladder to be punctured via the abdominal wall, and then drained. The prostate operation is effected via the urethra, and on completion the trocar is employed to place a catheter in the bladder. The technique involved is such that penetration of the front part of the urethra is reduced 14 percent to one percent.</p> |
