A METHOD FOR PROCESSING INTERRUPTS IN CONNECTION WITH TX OF SERIAL I/O DEVICE USING SDLE MODE

The method prevents the unnecessary interrupts of the series I/O unit generated when the data is transmitted. The method comprises steps: (A) enabling the TX interrupt disabled in the former state using the third command when the synchronous data is transmitted; (B) setting the mode corresponding to the TX interrupt when the TX interrupt occurs; (C) transmitting the data corresponding to the TX interrupt when the TX interrupt is set and returning to the step (B); (D) disabling the TX interrupt using the second command so that the TX interrupt is not occured again when the ESC interrupt mode is set in the step (B). The time necessary for processing the TX interrupt routine by a CPU is shortened using the method.
