PURPOSE:To quickly exchange a tool by operating link mechanisms with the linear movement of a spindle head via a cam and a cam follower, and pressing one swing link of both lever four-node link mechanisms to drive a gripper. CONSTITUTION:When a spindle head 1 is moved upward in the figure, links 7, 8 are operated by a cam 3 via a cam follower 12 to lift a pin 9c. The pin 9c and a roller 12b are moved downward in the figure, and a pin 9d and a roller 12a are moved upward. A link 14 is rotated counterclockwise centering a pin 14b, and an arm 14d is restricted by the roller 12a not to be rotated too much. The holding section 91 of gripper 17 is moved as shown by a dashed line 98 by the action of both lever four-node link mechanisms 4 to hold a tool holder 5. When the upward movement of the spindle head 1 is continued, a link 10 and a link mechanism 9 are moved together, the link 10 is lifted upward, and the tool holder 5 is released from a main spindle. |
