PURPOSE:To obviate the degradation in image quality and deterioration of the screen plate by the moisture, oxygen, dust, etc., in the atm. and to improve the handling quality and preservable stability thereof by applying a screen emulsion on a base and drying the coating to form a photosensitive film and laminating a material having hygroscopicity on the photosensitive film. CONSTITUTION:The photosensitive film 1 for the screen is formed by successively laminating the photosensitive film 3, formed by applying the hydrous screen emulsion on the base 2 and drying the coating, and the material 4 having the hygroscopicity. The screen 6 is expanded on a frame 5 and while the material 4 is peeled by a transfer rollers 7a, 7b, the film 3 is brought into contact with the screen 6. The emulsion 9 put into a bucket 8 is pressed to the rear of the screen 6, by which the film 3 and the screen 6 are adhered. The base 2 is peeled on drying and thereafter, a photomask 10 is brought into tight contact with the film 3 and is irradiated with active rays. This film is developed to obtain the screen plate. The degradation in image quality and deterioration of the screen plate by the moisture, oxygen, dust, etc., in the atm. are obviated in this way and the handling quality and preservable stability are improved. |
