PURPOSE: To eliminate the necessity of removing a tool body tip from a mandrel driver for controlling the installation depth for inserts by forming a tool body and a sleeve so that there is no necessity of revoming drive means from a mandrel and the sleeve can be screwed in. CONSTITUTION: A mandrel 21 disposed in an opening formed with a thread 23 for the engagement with an insert 11 is furnished with drive means for applying rotational force in order to install the insert 11 into a tap hole 13. A sleeve 37 is engaged with a shoulder 35 in the drive means so that a further advance of the mandrel 21 in the drive means, thereby limiting the depth for installing the insert 11 into the tap hole 13. A cutout part 26 is provided at a tip of a tool body so that the access to the control sleeve 37 may be permitted. |
