<p>A separate type air-conditioner comprising an outdoor unit having elements such as a compressor, a condenser and a fan motor, an indoor unit with heat exchange means, conduit means for refrigerant supply and return and an operation mode selection switch including a plurality of terminals for air venting, refrigerant recovery and normal operation modes of the air-conditioner. The air-conditioner includes refrigerant flow control valve means provided in the conduits for selectively opening the conduits for selectively opening and closing the flow paths between said units, said control valve means being electrically connected to said terminals. Also, a plurality of relay means are electrically connected to the terminals for controlling the current flow through at least one selected terminal to the elements and valve means connected thereto.</p> |
