PURPOSE:To prevent a curvature of thermal recording paper from occussing during printing by controlling the thickness of a coat layer applied to the surface of a heat sensitive layer for protecting said layer from a scratch to a specific thickness. CONSTITUTION:Regarding a thermal recording paper, in which color develops by the heat of a thermal head, a coat layer is formed over the surface of a heat sensitive layer to protect said layer from a scratch caused by sharp-edged items such as a nail, in particular, in such a manner that the thickness of the layer is in the range of 0.3-1.0mum. As a result, thermal recording paper free from curvature, which occurs during printing, can be obtained. |
