PURPOSE:To facilitate fixing of an installing element by a method wherein outer boxes and base plates of an indoor device and an outdoor device of an integral type air-conditioner are made of resin product, and the inner surface of a rail-like projection for use in fixing the installing elements to the ceiling surface and the bottom surface is formed with a corrugated part. CONSTITUTION:Reference numeral 1 of an integral air-conditioner denotes an indoor unit and reference numeral 2 denotes an outdoor unit of it. The outdoor unit and the base plates are integrally formed by resin molded product. Inner surfaces of an upper rail 3 and a lower rail 4 for use in fixing the installing element are formed with corrugated portions 5. Accordingly, when the installing element is inserted into the inner surfaces of the upper and lower rails 3 and 4, a friction resistance between the installing element and the rails is reduced and then the members may easily be inserted and fixed. As the installing element 8 is inserted into the rails, a semi-circular projection 14 of the installing element 8 is pushed against a concave part of the corrugated part 5 at the inner surface and fixed there. When they are installed, a displacement of the installing element can be prevented and concurrently a looseness after installation can be prevented. At this time, a resistance between the corrugated part 5 and the projection 14 is loosened by a slit and its insertion may not be interfered. |
