<p>PURPOSE:To stabilize the flying direction of a hit ball and to obtain an enlarged sweet spot by attaching a vibration damping material having a vibration loss coefficient of more than 0.02 at 20deg. C, to a golf club so as to control the deflection of the head part of the golf club. CONSTITUTION:A vibration damping material 4 is attached to at least a part of a golf club composed of a heat part 1, a shaft part 2 and a group part 3. This vibration damping material is attached to a position near to the gravitational center of the shaft part of the golf club. As the vibration damping material, there is preferably used thermally hardenable resin composed of, as main components, epoxy resin or polyamide which have a fluidity when it is heated up to 100deg. C from the room temperature, and at least one kind of inorganic filler selected from a group consisting of graphite, ferrite and mica, thereby it is possible to obtain a high performance.</p> |
