PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a memory means and attain considerable cost down, by separating an original scanning section and a recording section and processing picture edition on real time during the scanning of an original image. CONSTITUTION:A signal from a home position sensor 37a, a picture tip detecting sensor 37b and a print start position sensor 37c provided on a moving path of an optical system is inputted to control paper supply of the printer, resist, a subscanning DC motor 37d, and an exposure lamp 37e. In connecting the device to the printer, connectors JR1, JR2, JR3, JR4 are connected respectively connectors JP1, JP2, JP3, JP4 of the printer. In setting the reader/printer and communication with external terminals, a signal to be given substantially to the connectors JR1, JR2, JR3 is given once to a communication interface module 40a and the connection is given from a communication interface to the JR1, JR2, JR3. The JR4 is connected directly to the printer JP4. |
