PURPOSE:To reduce the required capacity of a storage part where explanation data is stored by discriminating the function requested by an operator in accordance with input data and freely combining explanation data of operation contents in respective processing steps to generate an operation manual. CONSTITUTION:At the time of operation to a device, operation contents are take in as operation data, and data required to generate the operation manual is taken out from this data and is stored in a data storage means 19. Explanation data of operation contents requested in each processing step is stored in an instruct information storage means 21. An editing control means 23 analyzes data stored in the data storage means 19 and combines explanation data of operation contents in respective processing steps stored in the instruct information storage means 21 to edit and generate the operation manual required to realize the objective function, and this manual is outputted in a prescribed expression form. Thus, the required capacity of the explanation data storage part is reduced. |
