PURPOSE:To form the title material which can impart water and oil repellency to a flame-retardant fibrous product or improve it without deteriorating flame retardancy by using a copolymer of a specified perfluoroalkyl acrylate with a brominated monomer at a specified ratio as a water- and oil-repellent component. CONSTITUTION:A copolymer of 40-80wt.% perfluoroalkyl acrylate of the formula Rf(CH2)n OCOCR=CH2 (wherein Rf is 6-12C perfluoroakyl; R is H or CH3; n is 2 to 4) with a brominated monomer (e.g. 2,4,6-tribromophenyl methacrylate) is used as a water- and oil-repellent component. |
