METHOD FOR MOUNTING FILTER TO FILTER FRAME

PURPOSE:To easily mount a filter to a filter frame without generating strain by applying ultrasonic vibration to the outer surface of the filter frame under pressure to almost simultaneously perform the temporary bonding of a filter base to the filter frame and the separation of this part from the other part of the filter base and subsequently performing final bonding. CONSTITUTION:Both ultrasonic processing devices 4 fall to press a filter frame 2 and a filter base 3 from above under pressure P and ultrasonic vibration is applied to both of them in this state. The leading ends of both cutting blades 8 become the state slightly penetrating in the filter frame 2 and the filter base 3 is cut at the positions of two cutting lines L and the filter base 3 between two cutting lines L is temporarily bonded to the ridges 9 of the filter frame 2. The temporarily bonded filter frame 2 and filter base 3 are fed to a final bonding position and the filter material is finally bonded to the filter frame by the ultrasonic processing devices. Thereafter, the aforementioned operation is repeated to successively mount the filter base to the filter frame 2.
