PURPOSE:To provide the title composition easy to use and excellent in bleaching power by mixing hydrogen peroxide, a bleaching activator that is liquid at ordinary temperature, a water-soluble solvent, and water at a specified weight ratio and adjusting the pH to a specified range. CONSTITUTION:1-6wt.% hydrogen peroxide is mixed with 2-20wt.% bleaching activator that is liquid at ordinary temperature (e.g. a diester of 3,6-dioxa- heptanoic acid with ethylene glycol, or a diester of butoxyacetic acid with glycerin), 1-50wt.% water-soluble solvent (e.g. ethanol), and the balance of water. The pH of the mixture is adjusted to 8 to 11.5 with an alkaline agent (e.g. sodium carbonate) to give the title composition. This composition is suitably used particularly as a mildew remover. In addition, a surface active agent, a penetrant, a chelating agent, an abrasive, a perfume, etc., can be incorporated therein. |
