TONER FOR ELECTROSPHOTOGRAPHY AND DEVELOPER FOR ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHY

PURPOSE:To obtain a toner and a developer having small dependency on environment and superior electrostatic chargeability by incorporating a compd. belonging to C.I. Solvent Orange 45 into the binding resin of a toner. CONSTITUTION:A compd. belonging to C.I. Solvent Orange 45 is incorporated into the binding resin of a toner. This compd. has satisfactory dispersibility in the binding resin because it is a dye belonging to a 1:2 type metallic complex salt dye with respect to chemical structure. Polyester resin synthesized from bisphenol type diol and polycarboxylic acid is preferably used as the binding resin. The resulting toner has superior electrostatic chargeability, small dependency on environment and improved fixability and is hardly deteriorated even after repeated continuous use.
