PURPOSE:To obtain a heat insulating fiber generating heat by sunlight, etc., having high heat-insulation and durability and suitable for clothes to be used in cold district by bonding a specific amount of a specific metal such as copper to a polypeptide fiber in coordinated state. CONSTITUTION:The objective fiber is produced by bonding 0.02-1mmol/g of copper, silver or molybdenum to a polypeptide fiber (e.g. wool or collagen fiber) in coordinated state. |
