The invention relates to a circular constant-velocity transmission method with a wide angular deflection and to the corresponding transmission joint. The method consists in holding the cardans on a circumference of centre (0) corresponding to the point of intersection of the axes of the driving and driven shafts of given constructional radius at all angles of misalignment of the said shafts. Holding the cardans (30, 40) on a circumference of predetermined radius of centre (0) is obtained through the use of a device consisting of two clevises (10, 20) opposing one another via the base (11, 21), moving one (10) with respect to the other (20) about their axis of rotation, between the cheeks (12, 13 and 22, 23) of which clevises are respectively articulated the outer races (31, 41) of the cardans (30, 40) which are fixed by their inner race (32, 42) to the end of the driving (7) and driven (8) shafts.
