NEW MATERIAL:The compound of formula [A1 is Phe, Tyr, etc.; A2 is MePhe (Me is methyl), MeTyr, etc.; A3 is Pro, etc.; A4 is allo-Ile, etc.; A5 is Leu or Nva; A6 is beta-HOMeVal or Sar; excluding the case that A1 is Phe, A2 is MePhe, A3 is Pro, A4 is allo-Ile, A5 is Leu and A6 is beta-HOMeVal]. USE:A treating agent for mycotic infectious diseases. PREPARATION:The novel R106 compound expressed by formula can be produced e.g. by culturing a microbial strain capable of producing R106 [e.g. Aureobasidium pullulans No. R106 (FERM BP-1938)] in a medium containing amino acids such as allo-isoleucine, o-fluorophenylalaine and norvaline, collecting the microbial cells, extracting the product and purifying the extract by high performance liquid chromatography. |
