PURPOSE:To damp torsional vibration on the driving shaft side stably so as to reduce the vibration and noise of a vehicle effectively by linking an input member to an output member by means of plurally disposed dash pots. CONSTITUTION:Each dash pot 7 induces both fluid resistance and the spring force of a spring 12 to act in the direction of impeding the relative rotation between output and input members 6, 4, so that driving torque can be transmitted smoothly from the input member 4 to the output member 6 through the dash pot 7. When torsional vibration is generated in a driving shaft 2 due to torque fluctuation or the like at the time of this power transmission, this torsional vibration of the driving shaft 2 causes vibration between the input member 4 and output member 6 of a flywheel 1, but this vibration is absorbed and damped by each dash pot 7 to suppress the transmission of the torsional vibration from the driving shaft 2 side to the output shaft side. The torsional vibration of a power transmission system can be thereby reduced, and the generation of noise caused by vibration can be suppressed. |
