PURPOSE:To strengthen bonding force, enhance waterproof and corrosionproof effects and perform the underwater lining method by applying a bonding agent on bonding surfaces of a non-woven cloth, impregnating the non-woven cloth with the bonding agent, forming the bonding agent in the cloth material shape, sticking the bonding agent as a lining film to an adherend and stretching press bonding. CONSTITUTION:Substrate processing for a body to be bonded 2 such as an underwater steel structure or the like is carried out. A non-woven cloth 1 is provided to conform with the shape and the like of the adherend 2 such as the underwater steel structure or the like at a working site on land and cut into the desired size of area. The non-woven cloth 1 is stretched on a plate-shaped body of good release properties and water hardening bonding agent such as epoxy resin, urethane resin or the like is applied uniformly on both surfaces to impregnate the non-woven cloth. Further, the high viscosity type bonding agent is applied to carry out overlapping coating of desired quantity of bonding agent. The non-woven cloth 1 coated with the bonding agent and impregnated is brought under water within approximately 30 minutes after applying and stuck to the adherend 2 such as the underwater steel structure or the like and stretching press bonded. Further, stretching press bonding is applied to eliminate all the water content. As a result, strong bonding force can be provided easily and high corrosionproof effect can be obtained. |
