<p>PURPOSE: To minimize a floor space and to prevent the damage of a system by providing a means for moving a keyboard to a separation position at the time of detecting that excessive downward force is applied to the keyboard and moving the keyboard to a system unit. CONSTITUTION: This device is provided with the keyboard 106 physically turned to a vertical plane, attached to a wall and attached by a hinge. The keyboard 106 is supported only by the hinge 108 and a surface on a lower side is not required in the operating mode. The keyboard 106 is attached to the system by the hinge 108 provided with at least three positions. Also, the hinge 108 is provided with a closed position for minimizing a space at the time of not using the system, an open position during normal use and the separation position for releasing the keyboard 106 when excessive pressure is applied. Thus, an occupancy space is minimized and the damage due to the unexpected incident of leaning on the keyboard with the excessive force is prevented.</p> |
