<p>PURPOSE:To protect junctions against separation and a piezoelectric element against damage by a method wherein a piezoelectric ceramic material provided with a joint surface, a metallized layer which is formed of metal excellent infusibility to the piezoelectric ceramic material and deposited on its joint surface, and a member which is fixed to the metallized layer through the intermediary of a joint layer. CONSTITUTION:Active layers 2a and 3a are formed on the joint surface of a piezoelectric ceramic material 1 by metallizing metal which is easily joined to ceramic material. As mentioned above, the active layers 2a and 3a are provided to the joint surface, whereby the metal forming the active layers is made to react with the piezoelectric ceramic material 1 and firmly joined to it, so that the piezoelectric ceramic material is prevented from separating off. When a joining operation is executed through brazing, metal forming brazing layers 2c and 3c is made to react with the brazing material which constitutes a brazing layer, so that the brazing layers 2c and 3c are firmly bonded to a member which is fixed to the piezoelectric ceramic material 1 through the intermediary of the brazing layer. By this setup, a piezoelectric ceramic is hardly separated off from a member.</p> |
