The ejection device has a top plate (1) fitted with a number of ejection pins (6) at the positions of the carton blank cut-outs. Each ejection pin (6) has an end piece (20) fitted in a corresponding bore (5) in the top plate (1), with a retention device (17) acting against the latter. The retention device (17) comprises a resilient radially compressible seating element around the outside of the pin (6), pressed against the wall of the bore (5). Pref. the bores are formed in the top plate (1) via laser machining. ADVANTAGE - Simple reconfiguration of ejection pins.
