The apparatus for measuring the mis-landing of the metal part caused by thermal expansion comprises a camera (20) taking the image of a CRT (10), a frame graber (30) storing output of the camera converted to digital one into a memory, an error detector (40) detecting the analog signal before converting to the digital one, a microprocessor (50) analysing the stored data in the frame graber, a voltage regulator (60) generating the voltage corresponding to the electron beam characteristic analysed by the microprocessor, a monitor (70) displaying the analysed data, and a recorder (80) recording the position of the electron beam.
