<p>PURPOSE:To make the steady control of strong differential limitting force possible by providing a cam means actuated by fastening a pilot clutch, a pressing member moved by the cam means, and main clutch fastened through the pressing member. CONSTITUTION:An electromagnetic multiple disc clutch 95 is fastened to actuate a cam 79, whose thrust force fastens a multiple disc clutch 75. The pressing direction of each of the clutches 75, 95 is made reverse to check the formation of a closed loop for not inputting cam reaction into the electromagnetic multiple disc clutch 95. Thus, the fluctuation of fastening force caused by the wear of friction plates 83, 85 and the fluctuation of coefficient of friction in the electromagnetic multiple disc clutch 95 does not directly influence the fastening force of the multiple disc clutch 75. A steady differential limitting mechanism can therefore be produced irrespective of a state of the friction plates of the clutch 95.</p> |
