PURPOSE:To strengthen protection on a silicone gel surface and damping action against vibration, and to make an insulator bear practical load by jointedly strengthening parts coming into contact with silicone gel on the peripheral face of a held part in a bar-shaped member and the inner peripheral face of a pivotally supported member. CONSTITUTION:A shearing strain type silicone gel insulator 1 has a hollow pivotally supported member 2, a buffering part 3 formed of silicone gel G hardenedly molded into a thick disc spring-shape from the inner peripheral face of the pivotally supported member toward an upside of its axial center, and a bar-shaped member 4 pivotally supported by the buffering part 3. The bar-shaped member 4 is composed of an engaging part 5 protruding upward from the buffering part 6 in the bar-shaped member 4 is applied to a joining face to the silicone gel, and a space part 11 is formed at a lower position in the pivotally supporting member 2, and parts coming into contact with the gel on the periphery of the held part 6 in the bar-shaped member 4 and the inner periphery of the pivotally supported member 2 and jointedly strengthened with silicone primer. |
