The transport arrangement feeds coins via a delivery element, e.g. a hole plate, to a conveyor path with a guide edge. The coins (1) are conveyed along the guide path (2) by transport pins (5) protruding through a continuous slot (4) in the supporting surface (2). A rotatable pressure roller (6) at the point of transition from the delivery element to the transport path is inclined wrt. the transport direction and arranged at a distance to the supporting surface whereby the coins are pressed against the transport path and supporting surface. ADVANTAGE - Ensures that coins are transported smoothly along guide edge.
