Recyclable plastics packaging box - designed to collapse or fold to flat body

In a plastics packaging box, the novelty is that: (a) the larger sides have wall thickness variations such that, on applying slight pressure onto the end faces during and after use, the box can fold in an accordion-like manne to a flat body of reduced vol. for optimal recycling; or (b) the box has diagonal fold lines so that, on applying torsion, the box folds up to a compact flat body secured against unfolding and thus optimised for recycling. The box material comprises pref. one or more thermoplastics which are compatible with one another on melting. ADVANTAGE - The box, made esp. of thermoplastics such as polyethylene or polypropylene, has an optimal recycling and ecological design.
