Overload safety control for machine drives - consists of drive hub, sleeve with rolls, and thrust ring

The over-load safety control for machines and drives consists of a drive hub (1), and a through-sleeve (5) with several torque-transmitting rolls (4). A switch thrust ring (2) is connected to the through sleeve (5) by means of the rolls. The adjustable spring force presses the roll against the thrust ring. A thrust bearing absorbs the sprung froce and is positioned between the drive hub and the through-sleeve. The torque-transmitting parts and frictional resistance parts (9, 13) are concentrically positioned. USE/ADVANTAGE - The overload control for machines produces a residual and holding momentum after the drive hub is separated.
