PURPOSE:To form a solid electrolyte type fuel cell excellent in reliability and characteristic by radially introducing a reaction gas between the center part and peripheral part of a reaction gas distributing device to dispense with the necessity of the whole gas seal between respective fuel cell members. CONSTITUTION:A flat type single cell 13 in which electrodes of a cathode 3 and an anode 2 are arranged on both main surfaces of a solid electrolyte 1 and a reaction gas distributing device 11A for separately supplying both reaction gases of an oxidizing agent gas and a fuel gas to both the electrodes are laminated to form a solid electrolyte type fuel cell. The reaction gases are introduced between the center part and peripheral part of the cell, and the electric connection with the single cell 13 is performed by the guide blades 8A of the distributing devices 4A, 11A, 11b. The reaction gases are supplied to or exhausted from the anode 2 and cathode 3 of the single cell 3 in parallel through the center part of the laminated single cell 13 and distributing devices 4A, 11A, 11B by manifolds 5, 6. Hence, the whole gas seal between respective cell members is not required. |
