The apparatus testing the first and second faces of the shadow mask displays the optical transmission rate in percentage by converting the output of the optical receiver measuring the transmit light passing through the shadow mask. The apparatus includes an image pickup measuring the transmit and reflect lights, an adjuster adjusting the magnification of the CCD camera which gap of the line pixel is certain times to the hall pitch of the shadow mask, and a detector detecting the badness of each hall with the finite impulse response (FIR) digital filtering and clusting.
