The circuit transmits the measured data in serial to the receiver for checking the consumption of gas, water, or electricity of each home. The secret code of a central meter (6) is transmitted to a controller (4) at the home for driving a counter (2) and the data transmitter (3). Then the measured data is transmitted to the central meter through a switching circuit (5). The controller (4) comprises a decoder (DC) comparing the received secret code, flip-flops (FF1-4), a timer (TM), and a clock generator (CK).
