<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a steam turbine of small size, light weight, and high performance, by rotatably fitting and supporting an outside turbine drum having an outside moving blade group outside a turbine shaft having a turbine moving blade group, and rotating them in the mutually reverse directions. CONSTITUTION:A turbine shaft 3 having a turbine moving blade 2 group is provided in the center longitudinal axis direction of an outside case 1, and rotatably supported on the front part and the rear part of the outside case 1. An outside turbine drum 5 having an outside moving blade 4 group is rotatably fitted and supported outside the turbine shaft 3. A steam sealing device 6 is provided between the outside turbine drum 5 and the outside case 1, and a nozzle 9 group and a steam reservoir 10 are respectively provided on the positions corresponding to a first stage of outside moving blade 8. Hereupon, a gearing device 7 is provided so as to rotate te turbine shaft 3 and the outside turbine drum 5 mutually in the opposite direction. Hereby, because the relative speed between the moving blades can be made twice and the flow passage is made short, the turbine of small size, light weight, and high performance is obtained.</p> |
