PURPOSE:To detect a proper blend rate without the need of a blend rate sensor by calculating the integrated value of O2 sensor output and then a feedback learning value at every time of prescribed learning period, and multiplying it by a blend compensation coefficient. CONSTITUTION:An O2 sensor 30 which inputs air-fuel rate information is mounted on the first exhaust pipe 18 of an engine 10 for input into a controller 25. The controller 25 is provided with a control circuit 39, a memory circuit 40, an input/output circuit 41 and a driving circuit 42. The O2 sensor 30 increases rich/lean evaluation voltage with the passage of time, and its output is integrated by an integrating circuit and is judged at every time of prescribed learning period for calculation of feedback learning value. A compensation ratio is calculated from memories blend ratio mapping for multiplied calculation. It is thus possible to detect the blend rate to make a use for ignition timing control and so forth. This method makes a control without a blend rate sensor. |
