PURPOSE:To promote compactification by constituting a light guide plate with an illuminant-opposed part, made of thermoplastic resin high in heat resistance, opposed to a lamp bulb and the remaining light emitting part, in a device which reflects light entered in the light guide plate from the bulb with a rear inner surface and emits it frontward. CONSTITUTION:An illuminating part 12 of a vanity mirror 1 fittingly installed in a recess formed in a sun visor 2 of an automobile is installed at both sides of the mirror set up so as to close a window of a body 3 shaped in almost oblong plate form, from behind and it is provided with a transparent light guide plate 28. In this case, the light guide plate 28 consists of a light emitting part 29, whose upper end is an almost thick wedge form, consisting of thermoplastic resin high in transparency and excellent in formability, and an illuminant opposed part 30, being curved concavely so as to be displaced in proportion as the top face is going to the front side and this curved surface 35 is set down to a light receiving part, and consisting of the said thermoplastic resin excellent in heat resistance. With this constitution, a lamp bulb 39 is set up in an upper end of the recess of the body 3 at this illuminant opposed part 30. |
