PURPOSE:To obtain the carrier which is coated with a coating material having excellent adhesiveness to the carrier core material by coating the carrier core material with a specific alkoxy alkylated polyamide resin and acrylic resin. CONSTITUTION:The carrier core material of the carrier for electrophotography is coated the the mixture composed of the alkoxy alkylated polyamide formed by grafted with a polymer or copolymer contg. the unit component expressed by general formula and the acrylic resin. In the formula, R1 denotes a hydrogen atom or methyl group. R2, R3 denote a hydrogen atom, substd. or unsubstd. alkyl group, substd. or unsubstd. aryl group which may be the same or different. R2, R3 may form a ring with each other. Purposes are achieved by using such resin for coating the carrier. |
