SURFACE MOUNTED PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD CONNECTOR

The insulating body of a printed-circuit board connector is mounted in front of an end face of a printed-circuit board in such a manner that first and second contact elements are arranged respectively above and below the plane of the printed-circuit board. Third contact elements are located in an intermediate region approximately at the height of the end face. The first and second contact elements are connected via flexible conductor pieces to contacting surfaces on the upper and lower side respectively of the printed-circuit board. The third contact elements have rigid solder tabs which are mounted on further contacting surfaces on the upper side of the printed-circuit board.
