PURPOSE:To attain the setting of a same mode through the read of a recording output or the setting of the inverse conversion of the mode by providing a means recording information representing various set functions in a form readable by a device onto output paper and a means reading the printout information. CONSTITUTION:An input means A able to select and command desired one or over of functions among plural picture forming functions to an original picture, a symbolizing means B symbolizing the content of the commanded one or over of functions into a corresponding prescribed symbol, a recording means C recording and outputting the symbolized symbol onto recorded medium with the original picture recorded thereon simultaneously, a symbol read means D reading a symbol on the recorded medium subject to recording output and a function setting means E applying any of the setting of a new picture forming function and setting of its inversion automatically based on the read symbol are provided. Thus, the output paper is used as an external mode memory. Then the upper limit of the setting enable number is eliminated and the setting of applying inversion automatically is attained. |
