PURPOSE:To suppress the height of a pole low and obtain an illumination environment with the reduced glare for players, an umpire and spectators in a sport by fitting a light source section and a light reflection section to the pole, and locating the light reflection section above the light source section. CONSTITUTION:A light projector 1 serving as a light source section A is installed at the lower section of a pole 2, and a mirror 3 having mirror reflection characteristic and constituting a light reflection section B reflecting and illuminating the light radiated from the light projector 1 to a tennis court is provided above the light projector 1. When light is radiated to the above mirror 3 from the light projector 1 at the lower section of the pole 2, the light radiated from the light projector 1 illuminates the tennis court 4 via the mirror 3 as if it is radiated from the image 1i of the light projector 1 generated at the symmetrical position to the light projector 1 with respect to the mirror 3 by the reflection law, i.e., an effect equivalent to that the light projector 1 is installed at the height Hi of the image 1i of the light projector 1 for illumination is obtained. The height of the pole 2 is suppressed low, and an illumination environment with the reduced glare for players, an umpire and spectators in a sport is obtained. |
